Another original for the last of our fall flavors series as we prepare to dive into the Christmas season. The Big Apple is an apple pie infused riff on the classic Manhattan. A little extra work to infuse the bourbon is well worth it for the wonderful flavors it brings to this and many other fall cocktails.

The Big Apple

2 oz Apple Pie Infused Bourbon

1 oz Sweet Vermouth (we used Carpano Antica Formula)

1 Full Dropper of Smoked Cinnamon Bitters

Combine ingredients in a mixing glass with ice. Stir to chill and dilute. Strain into a chilled Nick and Nora glass. Express lemon oils over the top and garnish with an apple wedge or apple fan.
