Bourbon-N-Bubbles; A Mother's Day Cocktail

We all want to show those special ladies in our lives how much we love and appreciate them on Mother's Day. And so we give you Bourbon-N-Bubbles! A sweet, fruity, and refreshing blend of Bourbon, Champagne, and Sorbet. The bourbon is very subtle as the bubbly and sorbet take center stage here. Plus, by using Four Roses you have one more way to give her some flowers on her special day!

Ingredients:

Approx. 3 Tablespoons Raspberry Sorbet

1 Oz Bourbon

Champagne/Sparkling Wine of Choice

2-3 Raspberries

1-2 Oz Chambord

Instructions:

  1. Soak raspberried in Chambord to prepare garnish.

  2. Pre-chill a tall champagne flute or champagne coupe.

  3. Add appox. 3 tablespoons sorbet to glass.

  4. Add 1 Oz Bourbon

  5. Top with Champagne or Sparkling Wine

  6. Garnish with raspberries.

The great thing about this cocktail is it’s flexibility. You can use any fruit flavored sorbet your special lady enjoys. We tend to lean toward more tart flavors such as the raspberry we’ve chosen here, but many other flavors would work just as well. Likewise, we’ve chosen to match our garnish to our sorbet with the use of Chambord-soaked raspberries, but you can easily mix and match and discover a number of tasty flavor combinations.
